First Aid Competition

On Saturday, the Central and South Seberang Perai Chapter of the Malaysian Red Crescent Society held its annual First Aid Competition for youth members.

The first part was a First Aid Theory test followed by the oral and practical tests for Community and “Classical” First Aid. Secondary school unit members turned out in full force to take part in the competition.

What’s your role, Bernard? Are you one of the judges or officers?

the picturetrail is cool but unlike the previous post I dont see the pic popping up intermittently

I miss all this. I was very active in St John’s Ambulance but I don’t have the time and discipline for it anymore. Maybe, later once in private practice. now where is the emoticon from Fatty Poh’s blog!!!!

First aid competition? Sounds fun. A good way to get first aiders (who don’t get to practice all they have learnt in real life) to think fast. I should alert the first aiders in our school to look into entering some competitions if there is such a thing here.

What emoticons is George talking about from Fatty Poh’s blog?

    Ray, yes.

George, this one pops out when you click on the photo. Try it out.

Go and get back to it la. It’s fun.

Judy, i’m sure they have some sort of simulations for training.

Ya, George, what emoticon were you refering to?

Chelsea, that’s great, must have a learned a few things already.

Chen, BLS passing mark is too high for them la.. unless they join the BLS course. You see where the pressure is applied on the patient for the CPR photo.

    Kat, very busy la. ;-)

FireHorse, girl guides also to meet guys mah… scouts lo. LOL.

    liling, YUP!!

liling, that’s GREAT. You’ve taken a good initiative. Where is your course? Who’s teaching? Perhaps other mommies can join you if you let them know about it here.

Bengbeng, aiks.. i read the post but i didn’t realize that I was tagged. Hehe. Talk about attention deficit. LOL. OK.. I’ll get cracking on it.
